Hip Hop Legend Sets Example for All Rappers to Follow!

It is time to clean up hip hop. Rap music has gotten out of hand. Many rappers today are just cursing on the mic instead of writing meaningful lyrics. Many of the male rappers are glorifying a criminal lifestyle in an attempt to seek clout and street cred. Many of the female rappers are basically strippers on stage seeking attention for ass twerking skills rather than rap skills. Let's be honest, hip hop has gotten out of control. Instead of corrupting the youth that look up to rappers with foul mouth lyrics and evil imagery in videos, it is time to give back to the community.

Hip hop legend Master P did just that on Juneteenth. I want to salute him and give him his flowers. Master P has founded a better alternative food company that is improving economic independence and diversifying grocery stores by introducing tasty, Black-owned healthy food products.

Imagine Eazy E in the Classic Movie Menace II Society

Eazy-E had the opportunity to play O-Dog in the movie Menace II Society, but unfortunately he ended up being dropped from the film. Director Allen Hughes claimed that Eazy-E was originally set to play O-Dog in 1993's Menace II Society, but that he was ultimately cut from the film due to his attempts to "control" the film.

The groundbreaking movie "Menace II Society" explores the grim reality of urban living in Los Angeles. The film, which was directed by Allen and Albert Hughes, offers a genuine and unvarnished depiction of the struggles that young African American men have while growing up in underprivileged areas. The narrative centers on the life of Caine Lawson, a young guy navigating the perilous streets while wrestling with issues of violence, criminality, and redemption. It is set against the backdrop of the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

With its examination of subjects including systematic injustice, peer pressure, and the cyclical nature of violence, the movie provides a harsh and uncompromising critique of the difficulties underprivileged people endure. "Menace II Society" is still relevant today because of its potent narrative and real performances, which force viewers to face hard realities regarding poverty, race, and humanity.
