This time, Cash Money Records and No Limit Records, two of New Orleans' most significant rap dynasties, will square off in an epic match at ComplexCon in Las Vegas. The event brought together the dominant rosters that shaped a period of Southern hip-hop: No Limit, led by Master P, whose prolific output and entrepreneurial spirit built a self-made empire featuring Mystikal, Mia X, and Silkk the Shocker; and Cash Money, founded by Birdman and Slim, which launched international stars like Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Mannie Fresh with its slick production and chart-topping sound.

The battle, which was broadcast live on Apple Music, Apple TV, and Complex's Instagram, honored the hits, grit, and historical significance of both labels that turned New Orleans into a hub of hip-hop culture.
